Seeking Pre-Licensed Therapist

Master’s-Level LAC, LMFT-Track, or Post-Doctoral Fellow

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a supportive and clinically sound private practice in Succasunna, NJ, dedicated to high-quality psychotherapy and professional development. This is a valuable opportunity for a pre-licensed therapist (Master’s-level or Post-Doctoral) to earn clinical hours toward full licensure under the supervision of a licensed psychologist in a warm, collaborative environment.

POSITION DETAILS

·       Title: Pre-Licensed Therapist (Master’s-Level LAC, LMFT-Track, or Post-Doctoral Fellow)

·       Compensation: $40–$60 per client session (fee-for-service, 1099 contractor)

(Rate based on education and experience)

·       Schedule: Flexible Hybrid (In-person & Telehealth)

·       Availability: Weekday afternoons/evenings (4:00 PM–8:00 PM) and/or weekends

REQUIREMENTS

·       One of the following:

o   Completion of a doctoral program (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology and currently accruing post-doctoral supervised hours toward licensure in New Jersey

o   Completion of a Master’s program in Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy

·       Possession of, or eligibility for, a New Jersey Temporary Permit (for post-docs)

·       Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey, or eligibility for LAC

·       For MFT candidates: completion of an MFT master’s program and actively pursuing licensure as an LMFT in New Jersey

·       NPI number (or willingness to obtain one)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Provide individual psychotherapy to a diverse caseload

·       Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation

·       Attend weekly supervision with a licensed psychologist

·       Contribute to a supportive, professional practice culture
